Two armed robbery suspects, Azuluonye Okonkwo 21 and Anuku Joseph, were on Monday, arrested by the Delta State Police Command.

This was disclosed in a post shared by the Delta Police spokesperson, Bright Edafe, on Tuesday.

The suspects allegedly robbed three houses and the victims identified them at the Police headquarters.

Edafe stated that their arrest was a sequel to a series of complaints of armed robbery posted on various social media handles.

The post reads: “Sequel to the series of complaints of armed robbery posted on various social media handles and the promise of CP Abaniwonda Olufemi to arrest the perpetrators, these two suspects, Azuluonye Okonkwo aged 21 years, and Anuku Joseph were arrested yesterday.

“They confessed their involvement in armed robbery around COKA area, they robbed three houses and the victims came to the headquarters and identified them.

“But one point to note is that in some of the houses they entered around 2 am, their gates were not even locked. Let’s take our security seriously pls.”
