Nigerian media personality and entrepreneur Toke Makinwa recently announced the launch of her new fragrance line called ‘Dive by Toke Makinwa,’ set to debut on April 28, 2024, under her brand, Toke Makinwa Beauty.
The fragrance, named ‘DIVE Eau de Parfum,’ offers a captivating experience with a blend of pink pepper, blackcurrant, and grapefruit at the start. It transitions to a heart of rose, jasmine, asparagus, and pineapple, and finishes with cedar, vanilla, amber, and patchouli—a delightful mix for the senses.
Toke Makinwa also describes Dive as ‘your everyday scent, floral but with a tinge of spice,’ available in a 100ml size promising a delicious aroma.
In her announcement, she expressed gratitude and credited her roots, saying, ‘Dear Jesus, this girl from the Southern/Western part of Nigeria, Idanre LGA, to be precise, Ondo State, really owes you everything. Thank you.'”
Acknowledging the hard work behind the scenes, she thanked her supporters and team for bringing this fragrance to life—from crafting the scent’s unique composition to designing the bottles and branding.
