THE Federal Government has assured that it will implement in full, the report of the House of Representatives ad hoc committee, which recently investigated petroleum subsidy regime, saying that while it would not witchhunt any individual, there would be no sacred cows.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Moha-mmed Adoke, who confir-med the receipt of the report to State House correspondents, in Abuja, on Monday, noted that it would be forwarded to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for necessary action.

"I can assure you that we will prosecute all those that are found culpable. There will be no sacred cows. I am with the copy of the report. We are not going to witchhunt anybody. We are going to do this without senti-ments and whoever is found guilty, we are going to arraign him before court of law."

Adoke, who recalled his earlier assurances that the report would not be swept under the carpet, was confident that the anti-graft agencies would do a good job over the matter.

When asked to confirm that government was in possession of the report, he said "very true, I have just got the report and I am acting on it imme-diately. I am forwarding it to the EFCC."
