After a great deal of observations, I could boldly say that Naijapals is centered on the below findings...
ADMINISTRATION: To a large extent, The Administrators of this site are careless enough not to cross-check every post before approving it on cover page. Similarly, They seem Unprofessional that they don't balance every report as not to result into Religous/Ethnic/Tribal bigotry.
BACHELORETTE: Among other people - Ajanni, Fateewase, Open_Reality, Finlandguy, phyukingjoe, Vera, and the likes are sometimes the first to comment on news stories, and sometimes divert attention of other pals from the main topic to a different discussion entirely or exchange of insolent utterances.
CENSORSHIP: Perhaps, This is the last thing on this sites, since It lacks scrutiny as most pals reign abuses among themselves, sometimes even people that are old enough to be their guardian.
DATING: Good enough that in the midst of all these, some people have been able to find a life partner through this site. The very recent was the Quadri & Adenike, among others.
ETHNICITY: Even though the Whites and Blacks on Naijapals may have alot in common, but every little opportunity of Racially abusive statements/pictures/Videos reported elsewhere makes you wonder if their differences outweigh their similarities. As the Forum is turned to Racial abuses.
FOOLING AROUND: Some pals have turned the Public Forum to Children's playground. words like My Yori Yori, Sweetie, Honey, my husband, my wife and so on could best be expressed inbox if actually you're interested in Dating or Relationship. So, why must some people liter the forum with those kind of pick up lines, just to make people get the wrong impression.
GUYS: To a large extent, majority of the guys in this Site are Abroad-based Nigerians. While some of them are good representation of their Motherland, others are just there to Occupy space.
HIPPOPOTAMUS: These are group of people who sneaf their nose on every post just to insult posters and their post, including anybody with a different view to what they think is right.
IBOs: Take it or leave it, are the majority on this site and as such, they are always at the height of any news that concerns Ibo. Either good or bad, they always try to make other tribes notice their superiority, even though, in reality It may not be so.
JOKE: This site is nothing but a Joke. How can someone delete His/Her account, yet still be receiving Birthday notification of pals in yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc. As if that was not enough, How can you delete an account and still have the chance to welcome it back. Are you kidding me?
KEBELLA ET AL: These people have one or two things in common. While, Kebella always use pix of women with big ass and boobs on her profile, Idbabe and Treasure2 are always the first to comment on METRO LIFE and RELATIONSHIP/ROMANCE respectively. All thanks to FlyMamacita, because She always have comments for every topic and Forum.
LADIES: Unlike the guys, Majority of the ladies here are Nigeria-based Nigerians, apart from some few White women who must have been married, still married, dating or once dated Nigerian(s).
MARITAL STATUS: The truth be told, more than half of the Women here are single and seriously looking for relationships. especially with guys based overseas.
NAMETALKAM: Undoubtedly one, if not the main source of News stories on this site, but places much emphasis on Noods or Half-naked Women photos than Issues of National Interest.
OLODOS: These are the set of people that are easily swayed. They believe virtually everything they read here or anywhere even without source/pictures/videos. To make their own more critical is that they even follow fellow pals's opinions and comments.
PRIVACY: There's no right to Privacy on this site as people still get messages even though they are privacy regulated against NON Pals. Imagine blocking somebody, yet the person still have access to request for add and probably can still send you messages.
QUOTES: It baffles me how some pals makes a fool of themselves by quoting virtually everybody - Relevants and irrelevants, perhaps just to increase their number of posts. Among such pals are Maggiecube, Solidstonez, etc.
RELIGION: Issues or News of this category seem to always have the highest posts or comments, as Religious Intolerance is gradually relegating the peaceful co-existence of this Country to the background.
SEX RELATED TOPICS/COMMENTS: Take this away from this site and you've succeeded in making Sophiebaby, Petra92, Waco and like minded peeps DEAF and DUMB.
TRIBALISM: Can you take this away from Nigerians? I doubt much, because everyone wants to show that his Origin is the most oustanding. And to make matters worst, Certain Negative vices are usually attributed to some tribes, even in some headlines of news reports especially from NAMETALKAM.
UNCORDINATED: News are being posted anyhow. You can see a SPORT report for instance, in the RELATIONSHIP and ROMANCE forum.
VEXING: Some people are really vexing with their comments, as they will never change their oppinion no matter what. Even when the truth is staring them at their face. For instances, certain people are here just to ride of president Goodluck Jonathan's government. No matter what happened, the government is bad. weather Plane crash, Ethnic violence, Natural disaster - The government is bad!
WASTED FORUMS: Can somebody tell me the use of JOKE, NOLITICS and FORUM GAMES? Stories posted on these forums don't always make headlines even though we read and comment on them sometimes, so why would the Administrators create these forums if they knew they were going to give prerential treatment to others?
XOXO: A king sized hug for Naijapals if they can state clearly their objective for establishing this social network, because to me the aim is already defeated since they don't have any House-style which is the no. 1 thing every media organisation should own. Naijapals is just dangling from right to left without direction.
YOUTH: While majority of the guys can be classified as youths since they fall within the age bracket of 20-30 (at most 40), It's not the same with most women here. Only very few are between 18-30. Others have passed marriageable age and as such are very desperate to hook-up. Not to forget the White women here who should be in their 40s. you know how it is with the green card syndrom?
