The Osun State Police Command yesterday arraigned a 28-years-old man, Godwin Daniel, before a Magistrate Court in Osogbo, Osun State, for allegedly breaking into the apartment of a lawyer, Mrs. Olatunde Adejoke, and stealing N460,000 and other valuables. According to the police prosecutor, Faagboyinbo Abiodun, the accused committed the crime on June24, 2012, between 10 am and 1pm at Ofatedo area of Osogbo. He said the crime was punishable under Section 411 and 390 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Volume II of Laws of Osun State 2003. The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him, and his counsel, Okobie Nnabite, urged the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal term. The judge, Magistrate Olushola Aluko, granted the accused bail in the sum of N250,000 and adjourned the case till July 11.
