U-20 Women World Cup: Falconets draw Brazil 1-1

The national Under-20 female team, the Falconets were earlier this morning forced to a one all draw against the Brazilian team at the on-going FIFA Under-20 women World Cup, in Japan.



Francisca Ordega gave the Falconets the lead on the 44th minute of the first half but the Brazilian laboured back to get an equalizer in the 87 minute in the second half through Giovanna Oliveira.

The Falconets still lead the Group B on four points; as Brazil picked just two points from two games played.

Nigeria’s other group member Korea republic and Italy will take to the pitch later today.

The Nigerian girls will take on Italy in their last group game on Sunday, August the 26th while Korea Republic will play Brazil.
