BREAKING NEWS: Policeman dismissed for killing teenager in Kano State

The Kano State Police Command has dismissed a policeman who shot dead a 12-year-old boy on Sallah eve.
The Deputy Public Relations Officer of the command, ASP Magaji Majiya, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Kano.
He said Sgt. Laminu Adamu was found guilty of the offence during the orderly room trial and was, as a result, dismissed from service.
According to him, the suspect has since been charged to court in order to serve as deterrent to others.
Majiya said: “The commissioner has warned other men and officers of the command to adhere strictly to civil relations and professionalism in carrying out their duties.
“He also warned them against indolence and laxity as the command will not condone such acts.”
