Informed conjecture would suggest that Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary is a match for almost any player in the world – except that of Samuel Eto’o, of course – but the Real Madrid star’s wages are apparently less than you may think.

According to Marca, Ronaldo is ranked only tenth in the world when it comes to wages paid by their clubs, with the likes of little known Dario Conca raking in more in than the far more illustrious Portuguese.
