There are reports coming in from all over the country in regards to how much Nigerians as buying petrol.
This morning Tribune newspaper reported that most petrol stations sold product at prices ranging from N120 to N150 per litre.
There are still some that are selling at N97 per liter.
The Punch reports that current scarcity of petrol across the country will persist for a while because of the difficulties in supply and the financial constraints facing marketers.
The marketers, said the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation could not effectively supply the entire market with the product, adding that the closure of the System 2B line was another challenge that had worsened the supply situation.
The System 2B pipeline runs through the western zone, which comprises six depots.
There is speculation that the scarcity can be blamed on petroleum marketers who are unhappy that they have not been paid their subsidy.
Also remember that the NNPC reported that when officials went to repair the pipeline in Arepo, Ogun state and they were attacked. They have now asked for police protection before they return to the area.
So tell us how much you are buying petrol in your area.
What do you think of the situation?
