Day 3 of the week long Felabration will no doubt go down in the annals of history as one of the most significant. The day somewhat served as the unofficial diva’s night as some of the biggest female artistes in Nigeria graced the stage together.

Also, another magical moment worth remembering is when the king of Afrobeat; Femi Kuti came on stage with his world renowned skill on the saxophonist skill in a duet with Nigeria’s biggest female musical export; Asa in a perhaps once in a lifetime experience. They undoubtedly held the crowd spellbound with their instrumental duet. Omawumi, Chidinma, Naomi, Reminisce, Durella, Dj Jimmy Jatt and many more artistes rocked the night to the fullest.

he fought for the masses with his music. he was resilient, never stopped even when his fundamental right to freedom of expression was violated and his life in danger, he stood against oppression, corruption, suppression, violation of human rights and lots more. i celebrate you Baba Fela. you will live evergreen in our minds and our children's children will hear of you and even sing to your song. requiscat in pace (RIP)
