At least 60 Nigerians in the United Kingdom have been deported because of various criminal offences. Some of the deportees had contravened immigration offences, while some were deported for their involvement in crimes such as rape, stealing, smoking and selling of hard drugs. Others used fake visa or engaged in fake marriages.

Some of the deportees said at the airport that they had lived in the UK for long but could not get residence permit.

There are immigration laws that u ve to obey. Beside most Nigerians think the western world is like Nigeria where  laws are not obeyed, u can bribe the police or misbehave becos your fada is a politician. I love the western culture, the call a spade a spade. But all the same i blame Nigerians becos they worship thier political and religious leaders who r exploiting them rather than condemned them.
