«§» 22 January 2013Chairman of Google, Eric Schmidt was in Nigeria and Kenya last week. Schmidt made a courtesy call to Lagos State Governor, Governor Babatunde Fashola accompanied by Google Ideas Director, Mr. Jared Cohen and Country Manager, Google Nigeria, Mrs. Juliet Ehimuan Chiazor amongst others to discuss the use of information and communications technology to drive growth in various sectors of the Nigerian economy.
>>>CLICK HERE TO VIEW PICTURES<<<Governor Fashola was accompanied by member’s of his cabinet including The Lagos State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Dr Obafemi Hamzat as well as The Commissioner for Science and Technology Mr Adebiyi Mabadeje.
Google’s Chairman also paid a visit to the mainframe studio of renowned Nigerian filmmaker, Tunde Kelani where they both discussed the challenges facing Nigeria’s creative industries.
