Abuja court sentences police pension boss to 2yrs in prison for embezzling N23bn

An Abuja High Court has sentenced a former head of the Police Pension Board, Yakubu Yusuf, to two years in prison.

He pleaded guilty to the embezzlement of N23.3 billion and is to forfeit property valued at N325 million.

He was given an option of N250 thousand to avoid the jail sentence. via Premium Times

No thanks to dat stupid judge, someone embezzle millions on naira but av just a few millions of naira properties forfeited with just a paltry sum of 250k bail option, STUPID AND HOPELESS COUNTRY

Dis all senseless matter,imagine 23.3billion naira,just 2years like dat,imagin dos senseless justice we hav in nigeria, if some one still goat,he or she will be sentence at lowest rate 4years inprizement,with hard working on his poverty garment,yawa dey naija o,2 bad.

And this idiot wanted to govern kogi state under the cult call PDP. Imagine d nonsense in Nigeria judiciary? Somebody is rotten in jail for stealing goat and this pen robber will be walking free the moment he paid the option of 250k, what a mess? This is very shamful and a big blow to the so called anti-corruption fight of GEJ led administration.
