Alida Obinyan was born on July 30, 1973. She attended Federal Government Girls College, Benin City (Class of 1990). She studied Botany at the University of Jos (Class of 1997). She later acquired extra degrees in Business Management (2005) and Clinical Psychology (2009). She was the Executive Director NCDF Investment and Asset Management, Abuja-Nigeria, until her death.
Alida died last night in Benin City. She would have been 40yrs old on July 30.
I feel so depressed about this because I wish I had the power to have made her plight heard…beyond my blog. I wish the response to her financial cry for help was swifter. I meant to call her 2 days ago just to check up on her, but I never did. Now she’s gone.
