"Hungry" 17 year old Lagos chap sent to jail for stealing half bag of beans

A seventeen year old boy was on Tuesday sentenced to jail by an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates Court in Lagos for stealing half a bag of beans worth N15, 000.

The prosecutor, George Nwosu, told the court that the young man (names withheld as he remains an underage under Nigerian law) stole half a bag of beans belonging to one Friday Nwafor. http://spammer.blogspot.com/2013/04/hungry-17-year-old-lagos-chap-sent-to.html
