Davido with his brother Adewale Adeleke and his manager Kamal Ajiboye were arrested in a club in Budapest. He was arrested over a fake currency which he used in paying for his drinks. Just like in Napel, David had few mins concert on the 21st and he shook the ground as always. He performed for about 10 mins and decided to pull a Rihanna by showing up late and perform at about 5am.
This made the Nigerian born organizer, Osariemen Ekiudoko Frank angry and led to his refusal to pay Davido the balance possibly led to Davido being stranded in the strange land. According to sources, everything was done to get them out of Budapest but proved abortive as they were trying to enter Paris for the next concert scheduled for 28th of June.
The report further revealed that David missed his flight and had to spend another night in Budapest and decided to go to a party with fake euro notes and were arrested by Hungarian police. Davido brother, Adewale Adeleke alleged that the fake euro was given to them by the show organizer in Turin- not as speculated by some bloggers that he got them from Switzerland.
The event was organized by Donko Consult and Stunt Entertainment. Their release was successful with the intervention of the Budapest organizer an some of the girls who accompanied Davido; informed the Hungarian police men that he was a musician. Their release were secure at about 2am on the 23r and were able to fly to Paris.
