Injured Rivers State Lawmaker Enters Coma

Shebi you have seen the video making the rounds of how a lawmaker at the Rivers State House of Assembly, Honourable Michael Okechukwu Chinda was ‘maced’ in the head by Honourable Chidi Lloyd (see videos below)?  Well, reports have it that the lawmaker, who was severely injured during the roforofo fight on Tuesday has slipped into a coma last night just immediately after surgeries were conducted on him at the Saint Patrick’s Hospital, Ogbunagbali, Port Harcourt.


The injured lawmaker, who was formerly the head of the House Committee on Public Petitions is one of the five who are in support of the Minister of State for Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike. This Jonathan-Amaechi fracas na wa o…lol!

Honourable Chinda, represents the Obio/Akpor constituency and arrangements are said to be in place to fly him abroad for further medical attention. What a shame. Since our democracy don start since 1999, we are still flying abroad for good medical attention? No lele, the oyel go soon finish, and e go clear for our eyes.

For now, the brutalized lawmaker is still unconscious following the trauma. He suffered severe damage to his skull and scalp, lost a tooth and lips are very swollen. Hmmm….
