A 10-year-old young girl (name withheld) has been arrested in Texas for molesting a 4-year-old boy.
According to police report, the girl was arrested after she was accused of molesting a young boy in an apartment complex last week in the city of Houston.
The mother of the girl has come to her defence saying she was just a kid having fun and playing.
“She was just being a kid having fun and playing.”She did not know she was doing something wrong,” suspect mother said.
Houston Police officials confirmed that the rape incident was reported. A sex crimes investigator was assigned to the case, and the arrest was made last week.
“Me and my mother cried and then, they took me to the police car,” the girl said. “I did not want to go,” the girl said.
”Just to see her looking through the bars shouting for me to get her out, was a nightmare,” the mother said.
The suspect was sent to a juvenile justice center where she was fingerprinted and issued a jump suit. She was locked up in the cell for 4 days.
If convicted, she could have to register as a sex offender, the youngest in the history of Texas.
Her mother also has to admit that her daughter may have committed a crime. “I’m not saying she did not do it, all I’m saying is that she is still a child,” the mother concluded.
