Habiba Abubakar Bags United Nations Peace And Charity Ambassadorial Honour

Abuja based Philanthropist Hajia Habiba Abubakar was honoured last weekend with the best diplomatic honour by the United Nations. She has  joined the likes of Angelina Jolie who have been honored.

Her foundation for the elderly and the poor is the first of its kind in the whole of west Africa and she funds it privately.



According to  Habiba ''since it is your idea to run an NGO then you shouldn't disturb the public by asking donations up and down''. This uniqueness is what has earned her the honour vested on her by the United Nations on the commemoration of its 2013 International day of peace.

Her Ambassadorial  status comes with the benefits of an International UN ID, customized car number plate, access to attending seminars and conferences both  at home and abroad ...
