A man who is a Christian in theory is just the opposite. He portrays the role of a man of faith by dressing to the nines on Sunday with his bible in hand, cross around his neck and bad-attitude in his heart. This is the guy who only comes to service at the beginning of the week, or maybe just a few times a month (or a year), follows along cheerfully with the program, but does not live in God’s Word from day to day. Ladies, to such man will sit next to him in service and ’ve fallen for him a few times because she didn't understand the difference between the two; but in order for women to not fall for or desire a relationship with a Christian man in theory, there is one thing ladies need to do… if you’re a believer, read God’s Word, comprehend the truth that it is and apply it to your life. Why? Because knowing and understanding it will help you see if a man is a pretender or genuinely living in faith, and it will help you re-evaluate your true desires. How? Because you will see the scriptures he lives, rather than simply listening to the one's he quotes.
As much as we don’t want to admit it, at one point or another most women have fallen prey to a man who does not practice his beliefs. Women do this more often than not because they only observe the surface of a man’s character and don’t look deeper to discern what we are genuinely asking for. Women have the tendency to value only what we see a man doing using tunnel vision, rather than using a microscopic eye to really see how he lives his life. And we do this because for some reason, we believe that there is a shortage of good men to have quality relationships with, so they accept the Christian man in theory in hopes that he will change into one in practice which is the beauty of impossibility.
