After months of speculation and negotiation, the 7 governor members of the “New PDP” have officially decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It was reported that earlier in the day, the decision to move to APC  came after President Goodluck Jonathan chose to postpone a planned meeting with the G-7 governors which was seen as a make or break meeting.

The development was announced by the Chairman of the faction, Abubakar Kawu Baraje, at a meeting which held at the Kano State Governor’s Lodge in the Asokoro area of Abuja.

In attendance were Governors Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, Babangida Aliyu of Niger, Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano, Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara, Governor Wammako of Sokoto state. Former governors, Bukola Saraki, Timipre Sylva and Abdullahi Adamu of Nasarawa states were also there.

The interim chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande received the governors. Also at the ceremony were Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and General Muhammadu Buhari.

Tinubu, in an interview with newsmen after the declaration said: ‘What has happened today is significant for our country. What is important is not the numerical strength but the character and commitment of people committed to change”.

The same people. There's no hope for Nigeria. Voting for APC is no different from voting for PDP.

The APC might not be perfect but it is still the best thing to happen to Nigeria since the first Military Coup. It is a union of concerned citizens who are not happy about the state of things in Nigeria currently. Only the corrupt politicians and their cohorts now smile to the banks, while the rest of the country live in want and abject poverty in a land that flows with milk and honey. If APC can unite which I think they will, to present a strong candidate for the presidential election in 2015, PDP's ride on the back of Nigerians will be permanently terminated. They will realize that Power Belongs to the People and not to Abuja Sycophants. Majority of Nigerians want change and are very happy at this new development. This is the principle of the dialectic in action. Nigerians will surely ride on to victory very soon.

Nigerians should desist and re-orientate individually to effect any meaningful changes on how the affairs of the nation is daily administer.Jonathan have no basis and outrightly has lost the legitimacy and point to win the heart of Nigerians for re -election.Considering the current state affairs of the nation it will be so stupid to nominate Jonathan for another term in office, his administration is notable for been most corrupt and driven by Jonathan self insatiable appetite for corruption.Policy that infringe deepened  and widen the gap between the rich and poor in a country characterized by selected political favored capitalist associated with corrupt public office holders with unending embezzlement of state funds in every sector of the nation institution. And I can hear the cry of majority Nigerians nosediving in abject unwanted poverty.95% of Nigerians are living below poverty rating according to WHO and the WB ,yet we have numerous cronies of public offices holders selected or elected using their proxies to hide state looted fund.Infact,Jonathan does not deserve another year in that office ,his nucleus of political cycle has failed by implementing the new automobile law in Nigeria ,I'm sure Jonathan economy team advisers were misguided ,misinformed and typically lack the true knowledge of Nigeria economy baseline. This so newly implemented policy will only add more grueling ,pains ,suffering, shortages and inflation on the transport sector.Ni developing countries execute policy without the platform to replace and addressed the vacuum of the unfavoured previous policy.Nigerian policy is driven ,written ,implemented on mere paper evaluation and does not reflect the truth market or economy reality. If you as k any of those lawmaker the good to expect from the new auto law,I'm sure they will jingle jingle and stammering their wanton wanton tongue to evolve round without given any reasonable base point to warrant changes. If you ask those that initiate the idea ,I mean the auto engineers association members in nija ,they will make nonsensical formulation to justify a project unachievable .If our government is concerned caring for Nigerians ,I see no reason why the new policy should affect importation of cars to the country, well !we know it's another means of corruption gateway to milk already suffering Nigerians.A sincere government should create and allowed free flow of competitive market in the auto industry,if there's competition in the market it will help increase the quality of home manufacturers. To forcefully monopolized the sector is authoritarian decision on Nigeria economy.

I guess u r not that smart...Mr smartbuddy. You identified these criminals as concerned Nigerians? I wonder the logic behind your stance ;"once a PDP member resign to APC he becomes a concerned Nigeria". You even went as far as denting Hegelian dialectics in a bid to prove your point.
No hope for Nigeria as far as these faces are still in politics. I hope you're aware that none of their children is schooling in Nigeria.
Nigeria.
