House of Reps member and chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs, Abike Dabiri Erewa, has reacted to Sanusi's sack on Twitter. She says it's irrational and against the law. Is it really against the law?

Our Presidential Advisers need to go back to politics 101.  There are many ways to kill a rat but they chose the ugliest way, very very unfortunate.  They just succeeded in making sls more popular.

The President have the power to sack him as long as the CBN is under the Presidency. The President have the right to sack him with the recommendation of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, which is actually what happened. So you just shut up and focus on what is happening to Nigerians in Diaspora and how the government can help them.A Nigerian was killed in Dakar Senegal some weeks ago,you and your committee are yet to do something about that. Most Embassies do as they like and treat Nigerians in Diaspora with disdain, concentrate yourself on the work assigned to you and stop telling the President when he is right or not,the President have advisers that tells him what he have the right to do and what he does not have the right to do.

It's amazing how people feel they know more about any issue more than the president, don't be misled by political and ethnic bigots.

Sanusi was becoming a big threat to Nigerian economy by creating sense of insecurity, I wish he did his home work very well before shooting out. The fact remains that he was suspended due to misappropriation of funds  which is legally justified regardless the situation around it. He prefers to play politics with his position than focusing on his duties.
