At the peak of President Goodluck Jonathan’s speech at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) zonal rally in Owerri, Imo State, yesterday, there was power outage at the venue. Consequently, his speech was no longer heard by the audience and he stopped briefly for power supply to be restored.

When he picked the microphone again, President Jonathan said, “Thank God we are back; no demon shall stop us.”

Some PDP members at the rally expressed delight at the development, saying “since it has happened to the president, he will know what we pass through and do something fast”.

This is a president that promised steady supply of electricity to Nigerians during his campaign for election. He is now blaming demons for his failure.

Every tom, dick and Harry will promise Nigerian citizens heaven on earth in order to get their votes, but in the end what will they do? Absolutely nothing. Imagine presido blaming demons. Even if that was a joke, he should not have said it. You need to learn how other countries keep steady power supply and not to squander our resources uselessly. You all rulers care about nobody but yourselves and families. Your children attends the best schools in the world, your relatives who are yet to finish secondary schools are being saved jobs meant for striving graduates.

It is so annoying and heart breaking to know what we go through in naija. We are supposed to be amongst the richest country in the world but what are we today since the British were kicked out?

You dey blame demons instead of yourselves for power outage in naija. Shame on you rulers, shame on you

The fools are those stupid PDP members who expressed delight thinking that he will take action since he saw it happened. They are real fools.
