in as much as im not in support of our folks leaving 9ja without gettin wat to do out there i still wldnt blame dem afterall cos if we had gud governance in all ramification it wld have been a different story.i still maintain dat seeking 4 greener pastures outside 9ja wit a solid link is beter but wrong wen we cum out to enslave ourselves to d whites.im outside at d moment jobbin but not thinkin of cumin 2 struggle wit d lightlenin situation back home.dat s my major problem wit 9jeria who has spen major billions in pretens of givin us light uninterrupted.neverthless, long live africa and longlive d federal republic of 9ja

I strongly agree with BALI4REAL. I live in the UK, and I am enjoying every bit of it, we pay tax on virtually everything!! I like it so because,  there is a guarantee of every facility one need to live a basic life ;thats if you are legal,
I am a Nigerian, direct from the eastside, and I can categorically tell you, you stand a better if not best chance to live well over here than Nigeria. There are too many oppurtunity here which is accessible to anyone who is legal. you dont need to be a richman to enjoy the basic things of life. when I think of this I normally cry for naija. if you come to think of it , this western countries dont have half of what we have , but we spoilt everything becos of greed, irresposibilty and indicipline.
tufiakwa!!!

The point is whatever way it is viewed people will travel for various purposes that matters to them even if we have Good governance.

Please, lets treat this issue carefully...
Its disturbing how most of our people look at this abroad thing. Some fink when you travel abroad you pick money on the streets. On my way to T&T last year, i had a stop over in cuba and saw lots of our people stranded there and some cant even afford to shave. Even in T&T, China and some European countries, some of them got disappointed and are ashamed to come back empty handed considering the money spent to get there. Please, what can we do?

True that.  Sometimes i wonder why so many are interested to travel aboard.  I was like that when i was living in Nigeria.  Now i'm aboard.  it pissing me off.  My family working twice as hard just to make an ends meet.  My uncle left a very good job in Naija just to come here and be a taxi driver.  Almost every African (whether naija or not) i know is working harder than they ever did in their country just to survive here. Sometimes i wish, they should drag every nigerian from naija to aboard and show them how life really is aboard.  It's not what nollywood tells you neither is it like what you see in in TV.   Like my mother always say, until you experience it, you'll never understand.

One thing I love so much about travelling is the ability to reorient oneself. In my next world - if there is - I will do it more than over again.
You will only see our irresponsibility and indicipline when you come out of Naija.

Hmmmm!
My fellow speechmen, In my opinion, I claim that going abroad is a greatest achievement ever, one can attain, beyond the ground of probabilities. On the other hand, those who suffer abroad, by and large, came in through illegal means or visiting, to be more precise. Abroad is a well organised world equiped with the state-of-the-art, facilities...where there is no gap between the rich and the poor. The term equality and equity are extremely respected and lots more! During my whole days of upholding academic excellence back home and being a part of one of the most respected schools in Nigeria "UniLag"...yet, We know nothing than improved theoretical mathematics skills... but, without the impression of oppression... Automation and applications of the supposedly rubbish theory facts we were used to back home, came into limelight ...and, some people some1 in the power corridorsof Motherland have all their children up here, and will keep preaching "No place like home " for our youth. Believe me, when u are appreciated and enjoy what whites citizens enjoy in their home countries whether directly or indirectly, then u will agree with me that... there are places better than home. Put simply, I look forward to seeing a better Nigeria someday...and let our youths come up if they have to, LEGALLY... by experience, those u must have seen suffering in Developed worlds are visiting immigrants that never intended to return. Nigeria will be a better place, I agree and pray so... but, we need to take advantage of all opportunities to get there!
