Former beauty queen, actress and Miss Nigeria, Regina Askia Williams made a return to Nigeria last week after she was invited by the governor of Akwa Ibom (her home state) as part of the Diaspora Unity team 2014. Governor Akpabio had invited the team to attend a memorial service in honor of the State’s slain heroes during the civil war, as well as tour and appraise the transformation going on in Akwa Ibom State.
