R.I.P: 12 Injured, 3 Vehicles Burnt As Fire Razes Fuel Station in Ogun - PHOTO

At least 12 persons were injured in a fire that gutted the Oanda filing Station, at Alagbole in Ifo Local Area Government of Ogun State.


The burnt and flooded fuel station in Ifo Local Area Government of Ogun State

According to an eyewitness, the fire started Easter night also engulfed 2 commercial buses with number plates AGL 811 XE and LSR 552 SF.

Also the entire filling station was flooded and also the unidentified SUV seen to submerge in water.

A security operative, Mr. Wasui Ganiyu, said, "I first noticed the fire at about 10pm Monday night across the Alagbole bridge."

Alagbole bridge is undergoing reconstruction, a project of the state government and a major link road between Ogun and Lagos states.

The firemen who arrived at the scene an hour later could not salvage anything as the entire petrol station was engulfed by the inferno.
