At least 11 people got hurt and 1 in critical condition when a group of female acrobats fell from 10m height during a circus performance in Rhode Island, USA.
Aerial platform with 8 female acrobats fell from 10m when the scaffolding construction called ‘human chandelier’ holding them collapsed down right in the middle of the show this Sunday. All of them got hurt along with one of the dancers who was dancing on the floor right beneath them.

The show is called the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey, and was performed including this dangerous act since January.

The spokesman of the circus told the reporters that the acrobats were just in the middle of a very dangerous act called "larger-than-life act" on the website of the circus.
The website also describes some of the moves of these acrobats as spinning, rolling down the wrapped silks “all while being suspended 35 feet in the air by their hair alone," and moreover: "audiences will even see the weight of three girls held aloft by the locks of only one of these tangled beauties."
The cause of the accident has not been determined yet. The hospital where the patients were submitted to claims that there is no danger to their lives right now.
The performance of the group scheduled on Sunday have been cancelled immediately.
