I Was Deceived - Ogenyi Onazi Replied To Match-Fixing Allegations

Super Eagles and Lazio midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has said he is not a match fixer and Henry Chukwuma Okoroji only deceived him into the meeting when he told him to come and meet with some people for an endorsement proposition. He said soon as he discovered the meeting was about match fixes, he said NO and bowed out. Speaking through his tiwtter page, Onazi also thanked his family and friends who have stood by him in what has been termed ‘bad press’ to his image. His tweets after the cut.

What is happening to Nigeria this year? Is this another fake story to slur Nigeria yet again?

Everything appears to be going wrong. I was thinking the world cup would at least give us some respite - however small - be no - more trouble!

Would any Nigerian really be foolish enough to fall into being filmed suggesting match fixing.

Who is this Football agent Henry Chukwuma Okoroji caught telling an undercover reporter that he could fix games and organise certain outcomes during the tournament?

Is he known to the Nigeria Football Association?  

Just last week an investigation was launched over claims of attempted match-fixing for the World Cup friendly between Scotland and Nigeria?

Mr Okoroji should be bought to book (if true) to explain himself!

And we have the Qatar 2022 scandal with the name NIGERIA included again!
