Android tablets have flooded the tab market, however, very few have what it takes to take on the iPad. Samsung's recently released Galaxy Tab S, and swears it will wipe out the footprints of the iPad. How true or possible is this? Let's compare and contrast their features and see how wipes out the other, or if they have to learn to live at peace with one another in the tech market.
Samsung Galaxy S
The Samsung Galaxy tab S comes in two sizes, 8.4 or 10.5 inches. It is priced the same as the iPad Mini/iPad Air. (N65,000 for the 8.4-incher or N82,500 for the 10.5-incher.)
Specs and Features
It has a crisp display, fingerprint sensor, and software design.
it's thinner and lighter than the iPad.
The biggest selling point is the screen, which uses the same technology introduced in the Galaxy S5.
It's sharp, bright, and HD video looks incredible.
It can also automatically adjust its colors to suit the lighting in the room. Display experts, who are a lot smarter than I am, have already dubbed Samsung's mobile display technology
Battery life is pretty good too.

The Apple iPad Air
The new iPad Air is unbelievably thin and light. And yet it’s so much more powerful and capable. With the A7 chip, advanced wireless, and great apps for productivity and creativity — all beautifully integrated with iOS 7 — iPad Air lets you do more than you ever imagined. In more places than you ever imagined. It dropped almost a quarter of the volume of the previous-generation iPad
Specs and Features
The A7 chip takes iPad to new heights of power and speed, everything you do with iPad Air feels quicker, because it is quicker. Up to twice as quick, in fact.
Same excellent battery life
Ultra-fast Wi-Fi
Great useful apps like iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
5-megapixel iSight camera
Dual microphones
iOS 7 introduces great new features, such as smarter multitasking, AirDrop, and Control Center
iCloud to keep all your content synced across all your devices — automatically.
AirPrint for direct printing from the iPad Air

It seems both Samsung and Apple have great strengths in different areas, so depending on what you really want in a tablet, decide which to go for. The best part of it? They are the same price.
