Why are Pastors hammering on Prosperity than Salvation? (Page 3)

i hope u people are reading ur bible very wel cus its writing in da bible that democracy will bring capitalsim ,capitalism will bring profetional pastors who understand how to make money, i wonder why dem de go school of theologies to become phd holders in God kingdom

Truly speakin, it is the order of the day today. Most acclaimed pastors are erectin churchs today cos they have observed that people are chasin prosperity and lookin for miracles here and there. But if we take Jesus Christ as our example, u will see that what is happening is uncalled for, but know this that the prophecies in the bible must be fulfilled and as such, if u have a bible trained conscience what is happenin will not be surprisin at all

My father has been a pastor for over half his life, and he's anything but a rogue. Trust me, as Pastor's kid is concerned, I think I would have known if my dad was keeping all the church money. We have gone without electricity because my father would rather help people with the money than pay his own bills. He has never ever taken a salary. I worked in the church and I know that for a fact!
I am not doubting that some pastor use the wealth for personal gain. However, to define them all as rogues is not fair to those who work hard for their communities, offer scholarships, build schools and health clinics for the community, visit the sick, help the hungry, visit the forgotten in prison, and spread the encouraging gospel to those who desperately need it. There are some great ministers out there that do that.

Rather unfortunate about your topic that ur pastor now preach Prosperity instead of Salvation. First every man with his own calling. if u are called by God to preach Prosperity don't venture preaching something else. Also if you are familiar with the bible (Zech. 1:17) Please read it.
Moreover if your church does not change you, kindly change your church. Every one will stand alone on the day of Judgment. Don't try to criticize your pastor (go and ask Aron and Miriam.....)
In conclusion, THERE IS NO LASTING PROSPERITY WITHOUT SALVATION. Don't be deceive everyone prays for prosperity even God's which for you is Prosperity  (3 John2). Repent and Give ur life to Christ. Also ask forgiveness from God and from your Pastor. Take care.

Well its not bad preaching about properity,c we need to understand the scripture,the bible only talks about prosperity in the old testament but in new testament ,the prophet dont said any thing about properity up to an xtend the word prosperity is not been mention in new test..i believe in prosperity,let me tell us,everything walks together 4 good.prosperity is a route to salvatiön. Why ,cos people turns not to believe in God and wait for God appointed time,and rather choose to do blood money. The pastor want them to knw dat God can held.the bible says in Isaiah45v3 "And i will give thee the treasure of darkness,and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that i,the lord,which call thee by thy name,am the God of Isreal.Then my question is, is dat not prosperity.? U need to knw money is a route to all evil,let then convience them to christ b4 the devil took them away frm us.prosperity is not bad but lead to salvation.

Church is like a food we eat,you know every food can be eaten but some food are better than others,so does church.in my church my pastor preach salvation all the time and always remind us about eternity,when every soul will be rewarded according to his deed on earth weather good or bad.infact change your church if your church can change you and still be on the race for HEAVEN.

your pastor loves his members.,,bcos only way to reiceve is to give ,our problem is that we not ok with little we have,,we must give to the glory of GOD,not in the church ,every where people are in need,,  read  2chronicles 31vs 10
