Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. ( John 3:16; John 1:18). Maybe those people were refering to Christians (during the biblical era, the disciples) & technically, they are not wrong bcos Galatians 4: 4 - 5 (NIV) says: "But when the time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive the full rights of sons."

Not many people knew that Joseph was not Jesus' dad.
Mary and Joseph went on to have more children.

@SweetNoxy:  Please find below answer to part 1 first
Matthew 1:19-25

18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

24Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

25And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Part 2:
matthew 13:53-58

54And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?

55Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

56And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.

58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Luke 8:19-20
19Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.

20And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.

I cannot find the section where one of his brothers was asking Jesus to go to Jerusalem, etc.  His brother did not know that Jesus planned to attend but incognito?

Thanx for the info. However, i know abt part 1 and since it is true that Joseph is not Jesus' father then its correct to say that He (Jesus) doesn't have brother(s) or sister(s) since His birth was by immaculate conception which hasn't being recorded for anyone else.

We saying that Mary had other children after she had Jesus.  Jesus was the only begotten son of God for sure, but Joseph and Mary continued to be married and have more children.

I understand what you are saying, but he came as the son of man born of the virgin mary so mary had more children thereafter so he does have half brothers.  God has allowed all of us that believe in his only begotten son to partake as joint heirs to the throne.  To God be the glory.
Mary still has her DNA that she imparted to Jesus her son as well.

The Bible says he did, and to you Christians, that's supposed to be absolute proof!

Mark 6:3, Matt 12:46, John 7:5, Mark 3:31, all
these bible verses prove that Mary gave
birth to other children, both male & female.
