12 Killed By Suspected Fulani Gunmen in Plateau state

About 12 people were killed in four villages of Bachit district of Riyom local government council of Plateau State by people suspected to be Fulani armed men.

SUPERGISTS.COM Weekend gathered that the family house of the late Senator Gyang Dalyop Dantong who was also killed in 2012 by suspected Fulani gunmen was burnt down by the killer gunmen and his father and other family members narrowly escaped.

Recalle that Senator Dantong who represented Plateau north senatorial district at the National Assembly and Hon Gyang Fulani, majority leader of the Plateau State House of Assembly lost their lives when they went to attend a mass burial of their people killed by suspected Fulani armed men.

Our correspondent further gathered that about three vehicles; one belonging to the late senator’s younger brother and several houses were also burnt by the rampaging gunmen in the area.

Confirming the development to SUPERGISTS.COM Weekend yesterday in Jos, the member representing Riyom State constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly and majority leader, Hon Daniel Dem said 12 people were killed by the attackers as more corpses were discovered in some nearby bushes in the area.
