Awolowo was not a saint and no human being is a saint


I am not about to discuss the war and the casualties
…..the 3 million figure thing was part of the propaganda
..…even one life lost is too many

Using Nigeria’s air space to import arms was a no-no if all planes could not be inspected
War is not a game of football …it is kill or be killed
….… and there is no such thing as a draw unfortunately.
It was a war that could have been avoided.
Like one famous Nigerian said; you don’t fight bullets with bluffs…
War is always avoidable…
