It’s less than two weeks to the Presidential Elections & just like everyone in the country, our entertainers are also concerned about who will win the elections and lead Nigeria to the promise land.
In a piece called, “MY THOUGHTS ON 2015 GENERAL ELECTIONS“, Nollywood star Rita Dominic reveals she is throwing her weight behind the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan.
Rita has also released a short video endorsing GEJ & telling us why he should be re-elected & not his main opposition Buhari.
I have followed the 2015 election with keen interest and have deduced that this is definitely a critical vote in Nigeria’s young democratic history. As a result I feel that this is not a time to keep silent in the face of the trials and tribulations we face as citizens of Nigeria. She says:
First and foremost, I would love to make a passionate appeal to my beloved fans and generality of Nigerians by saying that by God’s grace, there will be life after the elections have come and gone. We should not destroy relationships or in some extreme cases resort to violence because our choices of candidates differ. I have noticed that there seems to be so much intolerance for the views and choices of others, which has resulted in cyber bullying and intimidation. Voting is a constitutional right and a matter of personal choice and it is important that we respect this.
That said I would like to let everyone know that I will be voting for President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice- President Namadi Sambo on February 14, 2015. I have outlined some of the major reasons for my vote in a short video titled “I will vote again” directed by Mildred Okwo. Kindly take a few minutes of your time to watch this video here. For those who have not made up their minds which candidate to vote for, I implore that you visit ForwardNigeria.com to read and see for yourselves many of our President’s achievements.

You did not talk about the issue of corruption and recklessness of public spending.
Do you support corruption too. This president has granted presidential pardon to somebody
who has looted Bayelsa state money ment to develope a lot of project in that state; he was indicted
in the United Kingdom and kept in custody; he eventually jump bail illegally while awaiting judgement.
Also, granted a presidential pardon to one official who stole a lot of money ment for innocent pentioners.
Is this the kind of president you want to vote for again?
Sincerely speaking, i am not against president Jonathan as a person; he seems to be a humble person and easy going
person; but for his style of governance and ability to rule a complex country like Ngerian; i think he is not capable, or bold to
step on toes. Nigeria needs a fearless, tough, strong decision maker like Buhari. So Buhari is the answer to the present situation
in Nigeria. Mr Goodluck Jonathan, you have tried you best and even made a history as the first president from the ethnic minority.

It's so glaring that you are paid to this...All the issues that you talked about have nothing to do with you , neither does it have anything to do with the Entertaining industry that you represent. My Question is ; WHAT HAS HE DONE TO CURB PIRACY IN THE COUNTRY?
