I Use My Tithes To Save Lives — Empress Njamah

Nollywood actress, philanthropist and businesswoman, Empress Njamah has disclosed her House of Empress Foundation is her own way of paying her tithes to God.

According to the actress, she came about the foundation due to the overwhelming occurrence of child negligence in the country and was moved to do something for them as her own way of giving the children hope.

The actress explained to Encomium magazine that it has not been easy managing the foundation as she does not get support from anybody or the government.

“It has not been easy though. Like I mentioned, the God factor always miraculously weather the storm. It’s part of how I pay my tithe. I have never gotten funds from a soul, government or friends. It has been my sweat all the way and House of Empress has been supportive too,” she said.

Empress you are not paying yor tithe dear,but jst charity work. Look up God's instruction on paying tithe in malachi 3:4-10

For me tithe is giving, some I visit the orphanage monthly when I can. I advice others to do thesame. Its more rewarding seeing those wonderful kids and been able to help with my little. Since pastors are more focused in enriching themselves and buying private jets, while some members can't afford 3 meals a day nor afford the tuition fees these churches collect from their schools.

This is the root of tithing. Deut 14:22-end. Deut
26:12,13.
We've been thought wrongly that most of us
think that is only **Malachi** that talks about
tithes and others think tithes paying is not in
new testament.... well these are the list of
verses
Genesis 14:20
Levit customers 27:31
Numbers 18:24, 18:26 and 18:28, Deuteronomy
12:6, 12:11 and 26:12
2 chronicles 31:12
Nehemiah 10:37, 10:38, 12:44 and 13:5
Amos 4:4, Malachi 3:8 and 3:10, Luke 18:12,
Hebrew 7:5, 7:6, 7:8 and 7:9
Don't read them like novels cos they are not
one.... Dats d only way u can understand it
better.
The book of Deut. States dem by names and
did not generalise it on giving to the church...
And remember it also said in the third year
which is d year of tithing... meaning dat tithes
are not even to b paid every weeks or months
rather in every three years... plz read ur bible
well dear...
As for me tithe must not be paid only in d
church, it should be paid where it is needed
most. Some people said according to malachi
that u shld bring ur tithe to d storehouse,
storehouse is not a church but where d tithe is
needed most like saving lives, feeding d poor
etc.
Those saying your tithes should be paid to God
pls where is it do you think God is? Do you
thing God is in a building looked after by a
person in the name of priests or pastor or is he
all around us urging us to do things for the
least of our brothers, those who are in need
and are struggling? Pls I need clarification

I av been paying my tithes all these while to d church but am intending to stop cos sometimes pastors use it for wrong purposes including drinking beer and womanising while our less privilege are left to suffer, I av decided to channel it to d less privilege now. Recently my church had crises where d G.O was accuse of misappropriation/mismanagement of church fund, tell me! If they av not bn having enuf will they mismanage it?
