Several Killed As Armed Robbers Attack Bullion Van In RSUT Campus (Photos)

It was a horrid day for staff and students of RSUST as a UBA bank in the campus area was attacked by armed robbers on  Friday .Eyewitness say that the horrific incident lasted for 30 minutes with the robbers carting away a huge some of money after they successfully hijacked a bullion van . They faced resistance from the police escorts but unfortunately repelled them with their more sophisticated weapons .

Pictured below (first photo) is a  final year student who was in school to pay his graduation fee and final year clearance. He was among those who lost their lives in the tragic incident .

Eyewitness further revealed that  the robbers went ahead and  robbed another bank in Mile 1 axis around the UST campus area and we're engaged by police who shot their car tires but were still able to escape by hijacking an Infinti Jeep. This is so and may their souls rest in peace , Ame
