HELP: His Pastor Asked Him To Return His WAEC Certificate For Cheating

A friend to one of my close friends ( please this is not a made up story ) has been in dilemma for a couple of days now .He had been looking for a job for four years and recently gave his life to Christ.



Upon seeking spiritual intervention, he was asked to return his WAEC certificate to which he admitted he cheated as he did the exams in a miracle center and was helped in all subjects he took.

He however stopped any form of cheating when he got to the university and did all his Exams following rules and regulations earning him a 2: 1degree.The Man of God however insisted he got his WAEC result through forgery and cheating and must return the certificate back.

Now the question he is asking is Since he has asked for forgiveness and Is sincerely regretted his actions is there need to restitute or return back the certificate ?? How is he going to get a job without it?? is it biblical stated?? Pls help !!

I f you were once an arm robber you confessed you kill would the pastor tell you to go and wake the dead according to the bible old things has pass all things became new Go about and do your things that pastor most be a politician the advice was based on Buhari cert . Go about your things the normal way and look unto God.

I don't think its wise to return ur certificate, afterall prostitutes do give their lives to Christ, how do u expect them to restitute? Salvation is between u and God, and what is in the past shud be left in the past.

..next time, he will learn to go looking for jobs in companies,....not seeking spiritual intervention in churches.

Is bin noted that people don't like truth.... prostitution is Sin against the body,and because your body is the temple of the Lord is also a sin against the lord....So you restitute between yourself and God.... Come why did zacheus restitute the money he took unjust from the people?..... there is a diff between getting meaning from the word of God and infusing meaning on the word of God.... plz lets take note of this.... If not convince we should try listening to teachers of the word of God to understand more about restitution......If a sin is restituable, then don't wait for your pastor to tell to restitute....He can still have a retake.... Is never!! too late... This is for no reason but Kingdom purpose...
