How much per month do you think is a "good" salary for a university graduate in Nigeria? I'm currently in my final year, Imo State University and I have been looking at job opportunities online, comparing their salaries with friends, all in preparation for when I'm done with school.
I have never worked before. That is earn a salary apart from my IT experience so I have NO IDEA what is considered good for a salary. I am currently in Owerri but my dream place to work in is Lagos state.
I don't need an amazing figure or an amount that will give me a luxurious lifestyle. Just a nice salary that one can live comfortably on in Lagos. This is so that when I see stuff like "average salary is N54k per month" on a job, I will know whether to think "hmmm, that's kinda low" or "yeah! that's a good one!''
Please help me my fellow readers. Thank you very much.

I wont take anything less than 500k. It cost about 200k a month to rent 2 bedroom flat in Lekki. It cost about 90k to buy fuel for generator. After food and other expenses. You will hardly have 100k left a month to save.

may i ask you what you are doing presently, maybe you are still in school, by the time you graduate or be in the labour market for long , you will realise that 500k job is not for fresh graduate

I am currently working. It is a choice i believe. i did not spend 5m a year on education to go get a 100k job. in reality 100k is nothing and you yourself know this.

so in Nigeria , the amount you spent in school is what you use in juxtaposing what you earn after school abi? Is that the salary you are collecting per month now?
