24-Year-Old Nigerian Woman Shot Dead By Ex-boyfriend Outside Target Store In Maryland

A 24 year old woman identified as Marie Shade Adebayo was shot dead yesterday June 1st by a man believed to be her ex-boyfriend outside a Target store in Milestone Center, Montgomery County, Maryland.

Police have arrested 27 year old Donald Wayne Bricker Jr for the murder. According to NBC Washington, witnesses said they saw Shade and Adebayo involved in some sort of altercation inside a vehicle prior to the shooting. Shade then got out of the vehicle and Donald followed.
 
Investigators say Donald fired his gun at Shade, striking her. According to police, he then walked up to her and fired again. He then took off in a white Ford Ranger. He was arrested by police an hour later. A gun was recovered at the scene of the crash, police said.
