Report reaching GISTMANIA says that a High Court sitting in Gezawa today, discharged and acquitted Wasila Tasiu, the 14-year-old girl who was charged for the murder of her late husband and 3 others.
The presiding judge in the ruling based on the formal application before the court from the office of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, says the “the case is hereby terminated and the accused is discharged”.
GISTMANIA recalls that Tasiu was 14, when she was given out to a 40-year-old Sani as a second wife.
