The Ministerial list of Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari is being delayed because he is conducting a thorough check on the background of those he wants to appoint into his government, according to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.

Nigeria is a country where everything goes, no background check is carried out on people who want to occupy leadership positions in Government MDAs., that is why just any kind of people gets there and once they are there they will not function.
This is the typical example of what is happening in NASENI. The EVC (DG)’s antecedent from where he was before coming to NASENI Is a clear Indication of what People Should be expecting. From Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna to PEEMADI, Okeni and now NASENI Headquarters Abuja.

It is now very obvious that if background check was carried out, he will never be allowed to get to that position and NASENI will still be alive by now. Since he came into NASENI, he has not come up with a single project, no single Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), those he met on assumption of office in 2012, he has finished spending them on imaginary projects but real on paper only.

He is busy tasking NASENI’s research institutes to the point that they are now all grounded. He is waiting for free money from Government, no wonder he called all staffs meeting that they should be praying for more money for him to spend without considering the mood of the staffs. What concerns him is very possible, but that of the staffs is impossible with plenty reasons believed by mediocre. What a Leader.

Background check will have revealed what he did at Kaduna Polytechnic, in PEEMADI, Okene before handing NASENI over to him. NASENI is now a shadow of herself. The only working Offices are the Account and Procurement “the cabals” the staffs there are already trained to be like secret courts. These are their boys who help him perfect his criminal and corrupt acts.

People are now having their offices under the tree, because there is always no light and nothing to do. Those who managed to stay in the office are busy watching films and playing computer games. The worst of it is that staffs are now threatened with electronic clocking in and out of a completely dead office piloted by a visionless leader.
A visionless Leader, a fearful leader, a timid and not capable leader is the one that will not be coaxing people under him, but a visionary leader, will lead the people with hard work, honesty, vision and the followers will definitely follow without struggling. You can force people to follow you, if there heart is not following you, you are definitely alone. This is the situation in present NASENI. Your exit from NASENI will surely be a relief to the system.

Since 2012 the EVC has been rehashing on how he will move NASENI forward and that is why there are now plenty un-imaginable debt in NASENI owing both staffs and Contractors and he is feeding fat. The various regulatory bodies should truly be either scraped or sanctions from various degree of negligence in the system. If not such a man like this will have been exposed and prevent others from doing so. No wonder there is no development in the country.

President Buhari, on Monday 20th, vowed that the era of corruption and impunity in the conduct of government business in Nigeria was over. The President said during his meeting with President Barack Obama and other U.S. leaders, he would discuss plans for critical reforms, including why he is yet to form a cabinet. He attributed Nigeria’s inability to defeat Boko Haram as part of the failure of governance, stressing that even the military is not immune to the problem. To tackle the situation, he said, his government would first instill rules and good governance, followed by the installation of experienced and capable officials to manage state agencies and ministries. We pray the president to expedite action on these promises.
