Olabisi Alofe-Kolawole, a law graduate has emerged the first female Force Public Relations Officer  (FPRO). Alofe-Kolawole had her first degree at the Ogun State University and a masters in Police Leadership and Management from University of Leicester, UK.

Her appointment which was approved by Solomon Arase, the Inspector General of Police is "geared towards harnessing the enormous potentials among Nigerian female police officers”. Abayomi Shogunle, deputy police spokesperson noted.

“The new FPRO has served in various capacities both at national and international level. She was the force gender adviser before her recent posting,” Shogunle added.
