Ignorance is a disease. In some other countries, a person that killed such snake will go to jail. Such an animal should be caught and released back to the wild if at all Nigeria has a natural conservation area. It can also be kept in a zoo for breading programs in case it is an endangered specie. Many indigenous animals in Nigeria are extinct, yet we call ourselves giant of Africa. Tourists spend millions of dollars in African countries such as south Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya seeing fauna and flora of Africa.  Nigeria is still ignorant of what natural conservation can fetch us at the long run.
