Former Petroleum Minister, Dieziani Alison-Madueke Granted Bail, Passport Seized

Ex-minister, Deziani Alison-Madueke who was arrested in London on Friday, October 2, has been released on bail.
After being detained for hours, report said she was granted bail. But the London Police have confirmed that the former minister would be charged to court for money laundering.
Alison-Madueke was arrested in London on Friday along with four other persons in relation to corruption allegations being investigated by the UK National Crime Agency.

Hmmm I jt hope dis is not a witch hunting. If dis woman steal, let them probe her here in nigeria and sentence her than to insult dis country in d name of ridiculing her.

@Winance why do we always south "witch hunt"each time a political thief is caught but if its a normal citizen its Justice? We should be happy that the looters of our treasury r being hunted down & stop all these nonsense about witch hunt.And by the way if they r not watches will be hunted,or r u one of them?

Unfortunately, these started with her. I pity her though. Thought she said she is sick and receiving treatment in UK?. Let her be extradited back to Nigeria and tried here.

She dey launder money for england and dat is a jailable offence(custodial) but d sentence is not as severe like in america.

James Ibori scaled more than 10count  charges leveled against him in Nigeria and It took the Uk govt just three count charges to remind Nigerians we had a klepto in govt.

What 10 charges...? They were more than 170 charges and was acquitted of all in Nigeria....but Britain saw it differently. ....

On December 17, 2009, A Federal High Court sitting in Asaba, Delta State, discharged and acquitted Ibori of all 170 charges of corruption brought against him by EFCC
