2 Girls Arguing Over A Boy Escalates Into Mass Riot In Walthamstow, East London (VIDEO)

Police have cordoned off a large area in Walthamstow after a brawl kicked off at around 5pm. Met Police say officers were called to the area of Hoe Street and Station Approach following reports of "a large group of youths causing a disturbance". Videos posted onto social media appear to show a large group of youths trading blows. In one of the videos a group of youths throw punches in a residential street.

Another shows police officers racing down a street towards what appears to be a fight breaking out later on in the day. A third video, posted online, captures a large group of people crowding round while two girls start fighting. It also appears to show a bat handed to one of the females. No one is believed to have been injured in the violence.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Shortly after 5pm on October 6 October police were called to reports of a large group of youths causing a disturbance in the Hoe Street/ Station Approach area of Walthamstow. "Officers from Waltham Forest Borough and the Territorial Support group (TSG) attended the scene."The group then began to disperse."There are no reports of any persons with injuries at this time."Officers currently remain in the area."Two arrests have been made and enquiries into the circumstances of the incident will be made by Waltham Forest Borough officers."
