Ashaka Cement Loses Over $230million Due to Boko Haram Attacks in The Northeast of Nigeria

Chairman of Ashaka cement, Suleiman Yahaya says continued attacks by Boko Haram in the Northeast has caused his company to lose $230million. Speaking during a meeting with the Emir of Gombe, Shehu Abubakar, over the weekend, Yahaya said the constant attack on his plant by Boko Haram members has drastically reduced their output. He however stated that despite the attacks, his company is determined to ensure it was "one of the only surviving institutions in the entire north-eastern Nigeria".

Others have closed theirs, but u kept urs open, loosing money and endangering lives of workers all becos of keeping record as the only surviving institution in the north east. It's ur business
