Seven Die, 17 Injured In Auto Crash In Ogun

About seven persons have been confirmed dead and 17 others sustained serious injured in an accident that occurred on Monday, January at the Sagamu/Iperu Remo junction along Lagos-Benin expressway. The Punch reported that the accident happened at about 2.50pm near the police area commander‘s office at Sagamu. It involved a Toyota Hummer commercial bus with number plate BDG 789 XJ, which was said to have rammed into a Mazada commercial bus with number plate REE 248 XA. According to an eyewitness, the Toyota Hummer bus was suspected to be carrying passengers who were returning to Lagos after the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
