Messi is d best player in d world to me. Why do u think ronaldo is d best.To think of it ronaldo does not perform when he is playing big teams e.g it is very rare 2 see ronaldo perform wen he is playing teams like chelsea, arsenal and so on but wen manutd are playing teams like derby, aston villa, everton and host of others he scores goals but even if messi is playing the hardest team in d world he still make an impact in d game. let just think of the just concluded olypic games. He had an hand in if not all more than half of d goals Argentina scored.

Ronaldo is d best player in d world and he deserved to be so honour after his performances in the just concluded season. He did not only won both d premiership and d champion's league he also emerged as d highest goal scorer in both competitions and d highest in whole of europe. For the past two season now, Messi has failed to win any laurel for Barcelona whereas Ronaldo has won two premiership, two community shield, and d champion's league, the best club competition in d world. stop being sentimental. Ronaldo is d best in d world.

C Ron is the man, you can't take that away from him. Tho. Messi seems to be better but what did he achieve with his club in the previous season? A man can't a make a team, and for you to excel personally in soccer the team must be carried along, its not easy been the highest goal scorer in premiership to CL. C. Ro is just the best for the year 07/08, bone anonymity.

I think Ronaldo is the best footballer... for now. Why? He helped his team to a successful double title year, scoring the most goals (as a winger); in the same year that Messi helped his team to no titles (even though he was injured). Look we all know that as far as ability is concerned MAYBE Messi is the better man but potential is not enough. Heck, by potential, I could be the best player in the world!!!!! LOL.
