Why Are There So Much Queue In MTN SIM Card Registration Centers In Nigeria? (Opinion)

MTN subscribers as seen in the pics are prevented from entering one of the few centres for SIM card registration in Ilorin, Kwara State, due to over crowding.

Registration takes place daily on the first floor of the building and Traffic jam are now recorded daily as a result of the crowd. The elderly have been particularly affected and many couldn't stand the long queues for hours in the sun.

 They were later provided chairs to sit beside the building and under canopies. Some subscribers get to the centre as early as 5.00 am every day and this centre located on Unity road, opposite First Bank has been overwhelmed, and the arrangement has been shoddy with many going back home frustrated without getting registered.

TNK GOD, I'M NOT AN MTN SUBSCRIBER . SINCE 3 YRS AGO DAT I BOUGHT MY ETISALAT SIM, I VE NEVER REGISTER IT.

Obviously because numbers are being blocked due to incomplete registrations.

Nawaooo,me be dey ask the same question,last Nov/dec,2015,my 2 lines was blocked,I enquired,they said it is incomplete mtn line registration,I went the next day to re-register around 8am,hmmm,the mtn office was something else,to say that people are many is an understatement,people were more than thousands,I left,went back the next day,d same time,people full the office,both outside &opposite mtn office at Old mkt rd,Onitsha,the next day,haba,still the same,got angry &left,until one week after,I called my friend who is working at mtn,he came out&brought their mtn laptop&registered my numbers,if not for him,na thy kingdom come I for wait at mtn everyday,thou I later bought etisalat&airtel line thereafter.
