An Abuja based lawyer who was apparently sex-starved engaged in a fight with a sex worker over N2000 in a hotel at old Maitama area of Kubwa. It was gathered that the lawyer, who visited the area from the city centre, had gone to lodge in the hotel where he met the young woman. The source said the lawyer had negotiated to pay her the N5,000 overnight, but ended up paying her N3,000 instead, a decision that provoked the prostitute. A source said trouble ensued when she dipped her hand inside his pocket and removed his wallet containing the sum of N7,000. “In an attempt to retrieve the wallet from her, what started like a small quarrel became a street brawl and his shirt was torn,” the source added. The Kubwa Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Chief Superintendent Nuruddeen Sabo, said the case had been resolved between the two parties.
